Edgar Mauricio González Tovar is a Senior Embryologist with over 23 years of clinical experience in assisted reproduction. A biologist specializing in biotechnology from the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) in Mexico City, he also holds a Master’s degree in Human Reproduction and Clinical Embryology from the Valencian Institute of Infertility (IVI) in Seville, Spain. Throughout his career, González Tovar has directed IVF laboratories across Mexico, Europe, and the United States, designing and implementing 12 IVF labs in three countries. He has trained 14 embryologists and specializes in embryonic micromanipulation, biopsy, and preimplantation genetic screening (PGS). A frequent speaker at academic congresses and member of ASRM, AMMR, and ESHRE, he is recognized for his leadership in advancing laboratory quality standards and innovative surrogacy practices, helping families worldwide achieve their dream of parenthood.
