Dr. Brooke H. Wertz, MD, MPH, is a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist at NYU Langone Fertility Center. Inspired by her parents’ eight-year struggle with infertility, she developed an early passion for understanding the science and emotion behind family-building. Today, she provides comprehensive care to individuals and couples navigating infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, and fertility preservation—including adolescents preparing for chemotherapy or gender-affirming treatment. Dr. Wertz performs egg retrievals, transfers, and diagnostic procedures using a patient-centered approach grounded in empathy and education. She believes every family-building journey is unique and works closely with patients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their values and long-term goals. Deeply committed to empowering people through knowledge and compassionate guidance, Dr. Wertz finds her greatest joy in supporting patients as they take steps toward the families they dream of—affirming that there are many meaningful paths to parenthood.
