Dr. Rafael Portela 🇧🇷

Dr. Rafael Portela, born in Havana, Cuba, earned his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University’s Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He completed a general surgery internship and an otolaryngology residency, followed by a pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Currently at Nicklaus Children's Hospital, he also serves as Clinical Instructor at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. A board-certified otolaryngologist, Dr. Portela is a published physician dedicated to advancing head and neck surgery for children. His expertise and compassionate approach make him a trusted leader in pediatric ENT care.
